Summit Background
The Summit was developed under the leadership of an Advisory
Board chaired by Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard and composed of leaders from all sectors of Pasadena’s rich and diverse
community. (Click here
for a full list of Advisory Board members.)
Pasadena's groundbreaking Green City Action Plan
outlines a progressive list of environmental initiatives that the City
will take in its quest to become a sustainable and green community. The
plan follows the framework of the United Nations Green Cities Declaration
and Urban Environmental Accords.
The event offers a rare opportunity for interaction and relationship
development at a crucial time, one in which the priorities for
environmental protection and economic growth can be brought into
alignment.
