Long-Term Partners to Be Recognized at Schools Summit
by Keith Miller
The 10th annual Green California Schools and Community Colleges Summit comes to the Pasadena Convention Center November 2-3. Guided by leaders and stakeholders who make up its advisory board, for the past decade the summit has attracted the participation of a wide variety of companies offering green products and services.
The Summit was the first statewide green schools event and over the years it has helped thousands of public and private sector professionals stay abreast of policy changes, technology innovation and best practices in facility design and management.
From the earliest days, support and input from companies that work with the facility planners and decision makers who shape schools and campuses around the state has been an essential part of the Summit’s strength.
Special events to celebrate the 10th anniversary will include recognition of organizations that have provided long-term assistance and contributions to the Summit and to statewide efforts to make healthy, sustainable school facilities the norm for California students.
