The buildings on the Cesar Chavez campus are 34 percent more efficient than Title 24 baseline standards, achieved by using a cool roof, efficient lighting systems and by taking advantage of daylight and natural ventilation. The school incorporates materials that are environmentally responsive with high recycled content and that are low-emitting to improve indoor air quality.
