2008 Green California Leadership Awards

One of numerous high points at the 2008 Green California
Summit and Exposition will be the 2008 Green Leadership Awards ceremony,
which will take place on April 8.
These awards were established at the request of the Summit Advisory Board
to recognize outstanding environmental achievements by state and local
government. The ceremony at the Summit will highlight and celebrate
projects implemented in California during 2007.
Project Awards will be given in each of the following categories:

Management

Building

Management

Purchasing

Green
Culture
The
2007 awards ceremony (held in October 2007 to recognize projects completed
in 2006) brought out a crowd of government leaders, who gathered to honor
their colleagues and to hear an inspiring keynote from Commissioner Diane
Grueneich of the California Public Utilities Commission. You can read a
