Green Paths to Economic Recovery

Governments at local, state and federal levels - and their partners in the private sector, are searching for dependable strategies for economic growth. In California, more than anywhere else, the paths to recovery and sustainability are converging.

From water conservation and climate change to renewable energy, alternative fuel vehicles, and energy efficiency, California is leading the way. The Green California Summit is the place to learn directly from the policy makers, government agencies, facilities managers, architects, engineers and product suppliers what the path ahead looks like and how to make the most of what’s coming. Educational sessions will cover topics ranging from energy efficiency and green purchasing, to plans for a “smart grid” and green economic development.

The pre-Summit education program will also include several in-depth sessions on CALGreen, the mandatory green building code that became effective in January 2011.
