Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel
Los Angeles, California
Host: Linda Adams
Secretary, California Environmental Protection Agency
Be part of an historic event
that will prepare governments to meet the climate change challenge!
At the invitation of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, governors,
regional leaders and agency
executives from the United States, China,
India, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, the EU and other nations will
meet at the
second Governors' Global Climate Summit,
in advance of meetings for the next global agreement
on climate change. (Click
here for the event website.)
The first summit
garnered international attention, and provided the platform for
President-elect Obama's first major policy statement. Green Technology
organized a "Climate Change Solutions Showcase" for this event, which
enabled a select group of green companies to demonstrate how their
products and services could help governments throughout the world meet
their climate change obligations.

media tour the product showcase at the 2008 Governors' Global Climate
Summit.
Due to the tremendous international response to the 2008 event,
and the anticipation building around the December
UN
Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, this second Summit -
with the theme "On the Road to Copenhagen" - is anticipated to bring an
even greater response.

expected to include:
> Green Product Purchasers
> Global Diplomats
> Environmental Executives (Nonprofit, NGO,
Corporate)
> Approximately 200 International Reporters
> Corporate Executives
Participation is limited, and by invitation only. Immediate response is
