Community colleges are a focal point for state - and national - efforts to create a green economy and workforce in California.

This Summit is focused on all aspects of this dynamic market - from green building and energy efficiency to the products and services that new green facilities will need. It also encompasses green job training - the needs of industry and the challenges of developing curriculum that meets these needs.

Do you know students who are looking for green jobs? From 10:00 am until 2 pm on Tuesday, October 6, the Los Angeles Community College District is hosting a Green Jobs Fair at the Pasadena Convention Center, in conjunction with the Summit.
